So how did it went?!
Crazy temperatures and a dazling wind that just cuts trough you and takes away all your warmth!
The trail was fast and solid as a rock. Some iced up patches here and there. But nothing to worry about.
We allready put on all our gear at Jeremy's house so we wouldn't have to spend time doing that out in the cold! :-)
Dennis, my brother and photographer was completely set up when we rolled in to the park and so the shooting could begin straight away.
During the first run it was already so cold and hard to flow the dirts. In between runs trying to warm up for a bit, and took a lot of energy as well. And always gave a bit warmt for just a bit. When standing on top of the rolin, you were cold again!
And so it didn't take long before my feet started to lose there heat. And I decided to put some of my last left energy in to making a fire!
And even trying to start a fire was so hard, that when we finally had a fire going. There was no way that my feet would get the feeling back in them for as long as I would stay outside! Jeremy had done a lot of runs trough out his whole park by now. D, my brother was shooting pics all day without wearing gloves!! Just Amazing how he was able to keep making pictures in temperatures that feel like -15! Dennis just missed out on all the warmth that our blazing fire gave us, he was defrosting in the train back to Groningen by this time.
All together the day was super cool! ( I know.. Bad word joke huh! )
But really, I had fun! And it is worth doing another time, but with better planning for a proper fire to warm up with at any time. And maybe a bit less wind. I'm Looking forward to more winter sessions! Riding your bike is as fun as you make it!
I wish everybody a beautifull day full of love and amazingness!
Ciao!

Winter sesh 1.0
A very good day to all! Cool to see you again ;-)
Currently I'm sitting in the train waiting to go to Assen, yes once again to Jeremy's Trail. I just missed out on the last train. My normal bike at home had a flat tire which I did not yet repaired today, and sort of forgot that i had to run to the train station. And because of that I was late, realy late! This ment I had to litterely run! As fast as I could with a huge bag on my back. After a long cold and sweating run I was finally there! My brother is awaiting for me, shit I still needed a ticked! Another quick sprint to the ticked machine, got a ticked and the train was gone! Bummer! But no sweat, although I was sweating a lot! Now we could chill out a bit, get some food and drinks, and jump in to the next train. (And starting to work on my blog ofcourse)
whoehoe! We are off! I don't know how the weather is at this moment wherever you are. But here in the flat Country of Holland
It is freezing!! Some snow here and there and a beautifull blue sky today! So why not shoot a couple sweet pics!
Atleast if that is going to be a bit possible with a temperature feel of minus 15! ( in real it is less, but this is what it supposed to feel like today!)
Okay, I guess we're almost there. Love & Peace! And catch you on a later blog!

Saturday morning till sunday evening!

Here is a story about my weekend. Since I'm still working on my story when I visited the UK I'm trying to get my blog up to date. So I can put more recent messages on there instead of only these long story's .
But first, another long story ;-) I was writing everything as in the moment. So it's all like 'Live feed' if you know what I mean.
Saturday morning:
Hello people, I'm just typing on my new installed wireless apple keyboard I just got myself to hook up on my iPhone! So Blogging isn't something I have to do when I'm at home sitting in a small room. And man am I enjoying this already!!
I'm in the train right now. going towards my homie J-boy!
where we rebuild a couple jumps the last days, and going to do some more filming today. Unfortunately the rain kicked in pretty bad yesterday, but knowing the soil of Jeremy's trail everything is gong to be OOOO K! That is, if the tree's around his park keep the wind down a bit cause man! It is windy!!!!
I said we are going to do a bit more filming, because we started out last week. And already made a small test vid, which came out amazing!! I'm going to quit now, the train is almost there. Catch you guys later!! Peace!
Saturday evening:
Well Here I am again, waiting for the train. just a short 10min. Just enough time to let you people know that this day was super much fun! Even though the whole park was so wet that all the dirts became soft. And o yeah, that wind I talked about earlier, it was pretty gnarly!
But these ingredients made the day just more fun! Makes you really try hard! And because of that we all ended up with some amazing footage!! Can't wait to see it all on the big screen!
Okay you ;-) I gotta go now! Catch you on the flip side!!
And tomorrow it will stay dry and we'll do it all over again!! With more friends to come over!! Can't wait for the sickness!! Now back in the train to Groningen for some sick as techno till late. At Huize Maas!! Party!!!
WHOOOOT!
Sundag afternoon:
Okay, a bit late, but I'm in the train again to rock'n roll a bit more on the trails in Assen! The party was pretty cool! Were at home at 4 so no biggie. Even spend some quality time with my lady in the morning! What more to ask for! :-D
The weather is a lot better then yesterday, and hopefully the trails are dry now.
The sun is shining, while its a bit cloudy. Gives that insaine " Man I'm sweating like crazy!" & " Woah where did the sun went!? It's freakin cold!! " moments haha! Oh I'm in Assen now! Gotta fly!
21:03.
Yeah!! Another sweet day! I'm at Jeremy his place typing my blog after we had diner with Sjors, Bou & Roy. Who are now on the train or in there car for a 2,5 hour trip back home!
And just before all that we finished a pretty cool day at Jeremy's bike park! With sick photo's from Orlando, and Dirk and Bou on the 'moving-picture-making-machines! Unfortunately the dirt didn't dry out today. So the super smooth riding stayed out, but cool tricks went down! And everybody was having a lot of fun!
Later when the sun was long gone, and a fire was started. Some beers were going around and some power supply made 2 big lights light up one of the jumps for a night sesh! Which had the sickest set up with the bright Moon reflection in the water!
And then the power supply died on us, and there was no night sesh anymore!! Big bummer :'(
Next time, more power!!
But one thing was for sure! The first big Fall session was amazing! And hopefully we can do some more of them in between the bad weather of Holland!! What a weekend all together! On to the next one!
Love & Peace.
Kev.

My first blog!
Hello you!
Since this is going to be my first blog (ever!) I yet have not a single clue what to write about.
Loads of stuff have happened from the moment that DMR signed me up and I got stoked beyond epicness!
So I'm just going to put a bit of all in there. It kinda started out in march when the DMR Team got over to Holland for a super fun contest on the “middenberm” by then I knew the Samson bro's and Mr Magic himself Sam Reynolds from earlier comps troughout the years. I never seen style master Olly before, but straight away I fell in love with his two-toned eyes! To make a long story short. It felt I was riding with family I haven't seen for a long time! Here a vid for those who haven't seen yet.
http://vimeo.com/10560251 (I don't have any clue jet how to make this into a link sorry for that.)
These couple days were just amazing. I threw in my portfolio when they went back to the UK and 2 days later I was on the Team!
The Monster Energy Dirt Contest at the Balaton Bike Fest was the first competition for my on the new bike, due to injuries I only had 2 training days on the new bike, so everything was still fresh and getting used to it. So far the bike was nothing short from amazing! Every angle, the weight of every single product as well as the total bike just kicks as!
I arrived a couple days earlier in Budapest, and got picked up by András Szabó. My friend I met the year before and spend all my time with in Hungary, he worked for Monster Energy and also did some organizing for the Balaton Bike Fest.
András took me out for a couple rides at Golden Mountain, a super sick sweet as trail in Budapest! I met so many amazing people over there, and wanna go back asap!
After a few days at András' place we went to Balaton, in the big fat Monster Energy Truck! The day after my main man Ray Samson arrived time to repeat to good times from last year!
And so it was! Bloody hot sunny weather, chillin' out by the lake! And even a room to share with Ray! Resulting in amazing breakfast near by and dinner at that same place every day! Even a morning session on the course at sunrise and party's for the rest of the week till, yes you got it.. sunrise!
It was so good to see everybody again! I just had the best time ever.. oh no wait.. the best time since last year! The course was amazing and the curved wall ride was sick! I actually never ever done a curved wall and figured out that there all just a lot of fun!
Training and qualifications went awesome, I got myself a 5th spot.
Stoked!
Finals was even more crazy! I threw in some flatspins to switch spins, flip on the hip, and other runs flip tiregrabs, mexicans and more flips on the hip! I was happy about the runs and so were the judges!
A first place was given to me! Amazed! How much good things could one person feel at the same moment! The country, the location, the weather, local trails, the people, the course, the other riders, the party's, and not to forget my amazing DMR 898 that got me my 1st place!
Not to long after I got back in Holland, or actually the first night when I was in the UK for a small road trip and The Bike Radar Live contest. My friend András Szabó died together with 2 other people while flying a small airplane above the Golden Mountain trail to shoot some sweet footage.
My love goes out to all friends and family. András, you still rock!
